Italy's churches, palaces, villas, towns and villages with their enchanting piazzas are visited every year by millions of tourists and scholars, all attracted by the charm of beauty and perfection.

The Accademia di Italiano has developed Italian for Architecture courses designed for people who attend or have enrolled in Universities of Architecture (like the famous Faculty of Architecture of Milan's Politechnic University), where the classes are mostly if not solely taught in Italian. They are also designed for students and  internists in architectural firms and for those who have a personal or professional interest in Architecture. The aim of these courses is to help them gain the necessary vocabulary and terminology used in Architecture, along with insight into the history of Italian Architecture.
In addition to eventual topics of specific interest for each student, the course deals with  the History of Architecture from the Classical through the Renaissance to the contemporary periods, famous architects and their buildings, plus materials and building techniques. All supported by visits to sites of interest.

The course concentrates on the study of the Italian language: the programme is the same as the Standard Italian Course (20 lessons per week) combined with 10 individual classes per week. At the same time, it focuses on tailor-made lessons created to meet the language needs of students and professionals of the Architecture industry.
